Shenandoah District COB District Conference

Come Early To Pray!

Shenandoah District Conference, “The Return of the Word,” opens with worship this Friday, Nov. 7, starting with gathering music by the youth praise team at 6:45 p.m. and the service beginning at 7 p.m. at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren.

However, you are encouraged to come early and join a time of prayer, beginning at 6 p.m., in the Bridgewater church’s chapel. The prayer session will be led by Dwight Roetto, a Christian Growth Institute graduate who was recently licensed to the ministry at Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren. Join brothers and sisters in seeking God’s guidance for our District Conference and for the Christian ministry world-wide.

Then, on Saturday, registration opens at 8 a.m. for delegates, non-delegates and guests! Hymn-singing begins at 8:45 a.m. We will worship, do business, learn about our Brethren agencies and be inspired by the ministries of our District and our local congregations – and expect to adjourn by 4 p.m.
